A very big thank you and good news

I would just like to say thank you to all who spent so much time helping Joel and I through our computer crash. The good news is we were able to get to the pictures, and my son's were still there, and Hawaii never looked so beautiful. We still have a few things to figure out, but the worst is over, and we are well on our way! Thanks again for all your advise and time over the last week. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Now it sounds like you need a backup/recover plan for you computer.

External Hard Drive >= Internal Hard Drive

Z, thanks, we have everything backed up now. We had begun back up when the crash happened. We will now back up every time we load pictures or itunes stuff, instead of waiting until later. BIG LESSON LEARNED!
