I'm really sorry if I'm breaking the rules by creating a 2nd thread but mine has gone unhelped for 5 or 6 days all while i've seen threads started and serviced, and i'd really hate for that to be in vein just because i have a question about mgtools that seems to have not worked properly. The first time i ran it my system restarted midway through and i posted that log on my thread, i've since tried to run it again and got a much larger zip file that i havent posted on my thread to avoid the another 6 day bump delay. However, even when i ran it again it got stuck at:

    "Zipping hijackthis.log
    adding: hijackthis.log (188 bytes security) (delfated 66%)"

I saw another thread where the person who had a similar problem was told to delete the folder and the exe and run ccleaner and run it again so that's what i did only to come up with the same problem. So my questions are, what should i do about this mgtools problem? should i update my thread and take a huge bump delay with this most resent mgtools zip file? has my thread for some reason accidently gone unnoticed?

I understand that you guys are busy, don't take this post offensively but honestly i'm just confused. Why is it that i created my thread so long ago and I haven't been helped at all when all along i've seen other threads created and serviced? I'm dying to get my computer back as i've got school work building up and i'm having to borrow my friends computers and its getting kind of embarrassing :\

I'm sorry but I guess you cannot count very well. Your last post in your other thread was Dec 6 which is not 5 or 6 days ago. And you were last and answered by me on Dec 5th which is also not 5 or 6 days ago. You bumped your own thread when you posted that. You already attached the required logs in message # 10 when you finally got MGtools to run. There was no need at that point to do the other special steps since you now had gotten MGtools to run.

Even in this thread ( the one you are reading now) you bumped yourself. And this thread would not normally have been answered before your other thread but someone pointed it out to me.

The date you create your thread is not what we go by. It is the date/time of the last post which determines when we will get to it in the queue.

I really didn't mean for you to take offense to any of what I said in this thread. I genuinely thought that my thread might have been overlooked because everyone makes mistakes and thats totally fine, but if you're telling me that it's still a matter time and it will get serviced eventually, that's absolutely what I want to hear. I just wanted to make sure my thread wasn't overlooked. I wasn't aware that the way the system works is based of the last post in the thread, I assumed it was based of when the thread was created. I know nothing of the way forums work nor do I know the way most of the programs do either. Hell, I get scared when command prompt windows do things on their own, but that's really besides the point. I have the utmost respect and admiration for what you do for people and how much money you save them keeping them from going to overpriced alternatives.

However, though you're comment may be slightly backhanded, you're absolutely right, my counting is horrible :banghead
