What car is this?

I snapped this with my phone in the parking garage a few months ago.

that had me going for a while i thought it may have been a modified z4 bmw roadster but i was wrong.its a panoz roadster " http://www.jttmotorsports.com/ ".

 

For a min i thought it was a updated version of this mistake

I like that silver pickup in the background, it has a nice matching topper. :cool

 

No, nothing like a Prowler.

 

I wish I had taken more pics, but the side vents don't seem to be right, and the rear end is different from the panoz roadster images I found.

Also, the Panoz Roadster had no top cover, or a place to put one on, per wkipedia. Although the more I look at it, the more I think you are probably right.

 

yeah it is fairly hard to tell from this photo but the tyre rims fit the picture also the side well where the indicator is the same and the aiv version did have the availability of a clip on soft top.it looks a bit like the top off a old mg you could easily modify one to fit.plus that lump on the bonnet is a give away.

Id say its a Roadster of some sort. Prowlers are different from that.

 

Yup its a Panoz AIV from the looks of it.

It was taken in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - it had a right hand drive.

My daughters friend had one and you might aswell of rode round on a go-cart, the amount of wind you could hear and feel coming in through the doors and windows was unbelievable, and as the wind came in through the doors it whistled continuosly, it was like having Roger Whittaker in the car with you ! LOL

 

definitely some sort of fiat lol, not the best of European exports
