No not really since that version is already expired long ago and would not run properly. You are not supposed to keep old versions of ComboFix which is why we have them uninstalled after the cleaning process is completed.

 

Even a week would be considered old.

Scanners and special tools can update several times per day to keep up with malware. That is why the READ & RUN ME FIRST states to make sure you download and use the current versions. There were days when new malware was arriving so quickly that even MGtools changed 4 to 5 times in a single day. If you don't update tools everytime before using, you will almost certainly be out of date.

You should not be using ComboFix as a matter of the fact scanner. You should only be using it as requested by an expert. Running it as part of the READ & RUN ME FIRST would be as requested, but other steps are run first prior to using ComboFix.
