    Admin'ing a forum is ok, can be alot of work deleting and moving threads/posts etc etc etc but on the whole its trying to get a balance of what the forum ethos is about, this one is tech based so for instance the hot topics area can be a pain to judge and step in when needed, but if you start a topic then you need to have the "bits" to take the rough with the smooth.

    To do it well, its just mind numbing chasing around after folk that cannot read or just need some guidance on how to use the internet, forums or their own PC, a measure of a forum is how well it copes with those and I think our tollerance and helpfulness is top notch, yes always going to be the numbnuts we have to ban or delete but cest la vie.

    As Kodo rightly said and referred to forums can be a pita and are getting worse by the year, but this one here in Majorgeeks is holding its ethos up quite well for the most part.

    And I made the mistake of not telling one friend about another friend having problems with a long-time user and that they were allowed back in. :-o :-o

    So I ended up loosing two users for two new users :cool

    But my forum is becoming a world wide forum versus a state wide forum. That's OK too.
