And now for a story!

Ok, first I would like to describe my network. I have a server, with a wireless access point comming from it. Then there are 3 laptops and 3 desktops that connect to it. So, off we go with the story!

[yesterday]My dad was trying to install his camera software. He couldn't because he has a basic account. So I told him that I need to install it under my name. He got MAD!

He said "I paid for all of this crap, make me an Administrator, and bring you down to a basic account" So, sadly, I did it.

Later I was on my laptop in the living room and I heard my dad say from his office "Woah! What's this?" and I said to myself "oh damn".

Then, I was streaming a Youtube video. It stopped, but I was still connected to my access point. So I tried to go to Google.com just to test. "Navigation to the webpage has failed". The server was no longer connected to the Internet.

So, then, the access point disconnects alltogether. DAMN.

Then, he says "Zack! Get in here!" I come in. Hes like "fix the server, but keep me an admin"

So i did so.

[today]I woke up and grabbed my laptop. Not connected to any access points. Of course not. So I called my dad. He said "Hey, I was just about to call you. Being an admin is stressfull. Please revert everything back to how it was. Oh and by the way? The server won't boot up"

HE DESTROYED THE MBR!!!!!!

But everything is back to how it should be now

 

Nightmare Dawg, strangle your Dad he's a freakin nuisance :-D as long as your sort of sorted anyway !
P.S and tell him to stick the camera where the sun don't shine ! :-D

That's what I would like to know! I had to do fixmbr from recovery console =/
All of my data stayed intact luckily.
