    Hi everyone,

Not sure what is going on with this, but when I visit certain websites, or webpages, especially job posting sites and employment sites, I get a blank page that loads, and as the title of the page I get the following:

    TRACK.ASP (GIF IMAGE, 1X1 PIXELS)

The website address changes to this long weird thing: (this is one of many sites Ive come across with similar weird address popups)

    http://voiceapplied.4jobs.com/commo...vX1l6efKR0f3aWDVY6AD&p=1&atk=14ner14cf0g201en

...and the page is completely white with done at the bottom. If I refresh, same thing. The page just will not load and in the title that pixels crap is displayed.

Ive tried on some sites putting in an s in front of http, making it https and sometimes the site or page will actually load up if I do it this way, but in most cases, if I put in the S in front of HTTP, it goes to a CANNOT DISPLAY THIS WEBPAGE.

This is only on certain websites. I dont know if its my browser or what. Ive tried Mozilla and IE and both seem to result in the same results.

Ive deleted out my cookies, temp files, etc and same problem occurs. :cry

Well, Im not sure what you mean by "scans" (You mean Virus Scans??), but after researching a bit on google, I came across some info on how to find out the ownership of the website or page Im trying to view in Mozilla. I learned that the tabs on the far left help determine the ownership. Gray, blue, green, etc.

What I learned is this page has a gray tab, and states the following:

The website does not contain identify information. Your connection to the website is not encrypted

A lot of the support sites Ive visited seem to not tell any fix, but just facts and opinions. Some did suggest the HTTPS routine, which Ive tried and seems to help on some websites I go to, but not the majority, while others suggested the tab method to determine the protocol code, whatever they mean.

As far as "Virus Scans" I run Kaspersky Internet Security 9.0.0 and its found no viruses. I also run Spybot Search and Destroy, and Spyware Doctor and they indicate nothing found.

Im just at a complete loss. lol :confused

Have you tried flushing your dns cache !

Start -> Run -> type cmd
In command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns
Done! You Window DNS cache has just been flushed.

Also have you tried updating KIS 2009 to KIS 2010 version 9.0.0.736
    try it here http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/kis_latest_versions

    Hi

Those long codes in the web address are re-direct codes that will take you from one site as in that jobs site (which by all accounts is just a listing of jobs, bit like google but for jobs) that will then take you to the original jobs site.

What the issue could be is that whatever security software you are using may not allow re-directs like that fearing they are malware, try this and see if it helps, Run Firefox in its safe mode and try that link (safe mode found in the Start > Programs Firefox folder)

Well, I ran the ipconfig/flushdns command and the result I got was

    THE REQUESTED OPERATION REQUIRES ELEVATION

, but Ill try the Mozilla safe mode option and see if this works and let you guys know if this helped.

    Thanks! :wave
