I slipped on a loose rug and smashed it, extremely hard, against a wall. Thought I just stubbed it until it swelled to twice the size and started turning funny colors.

 

Had that happen before.Also broken finger bones, fractured ankles.
None any good.

There's a special shoe for this. Velcros on, has a high front step, kind of like a reversed boot with heel.

Back. Didn't see the doctor. Sat there two and a half hours watching perfectly healthy-looking people saunter in before me. Mom got fed up and we left.

Also because she couldn't stand to miss her soap operas...

Just b/c someone looks healthy doesn't mean they are. Sheesh...I get so frigging tired of people making assumptions like that based on how they "think" a person looks on the outside. rolleyes :mad Emergency rooms treat the more serious cases first. That's why triage is the first step...so they can determine if your condition is serious/critical or if you risk becoming serious/critical the longer you have to wait. A potentially broken toe would not be priority.

 

I broke my big toe only a couple of weeks ago, hit it against a trolly full of pamphlets! changed to the bruising colors, felt very weird and sore, still isn't healed right yet, I can't fully bend it like the other toes! get a bit of nurofen plus into you, will help with the pain and its pharmacy medicine! all sympathy for you.

 

That's about the third or fourth time your mom has screwed you over regarding your health that I have read in here,your a kid,you need looking after and your mom isn't.

You vent your problems on here but none of us can really help,don't you have anyone else you can talk to?Another relative or something?

I don't know what her problem is but if my daughter her herself I'd get a coffee and a blanket and dig in for the night until she'd seen a doctor.

Does she really though? If you search old posts you will see that Aimee has some psychological issues that she is/was medicated for. Part of her illness has her not seeing things as they really are, exaggerating and going out of her way to get attention.

As none of us are qualified to provide medical assessments and necessary information has already been provided to her in order to get the help she does need, I cannot in good conscience allow this thread to continue.

Aimee...you need help, there are options. A message board is not the place to look for it.
