I have an idea.
I propose to all users, to choose All Saints to be the official celebration day of Major Geeks .
After all, they save us all the time...
How do you find the idea ?

WHAT? Are you implying that there is any luck to this computer business? The only time "luck" is involved is when things go bad, and that's bad luck. When thing go well, that's skill, knowledge, and analytical creativeness.

At least that's the impression I try to convey.

I'm not aiming at luck !
Saints are professionals - in saving . In saving = salvation, not saving = back up.
Although , again, back up = salvation, usually.
The point is : I insist on the idea

Looking at the earliest Join Date in the Member's List shows MA's 12/11/01, CP's 1/01/02, Halo, Phantom and the rest started joining on 1/6/02. So I would say 6 January. Nothing wrong with 1/1/ though.

 

Yes, the 6th of January has the advantage that it adds a celebration to the calender.

But then, again, what is a celebration without a name. It has to be an absolutely nice, cool name.
Now who will come up with the best name on earth?

Ok, now it’s getting more &more complicated.
The 6th of January is the day, We have the appropriate menu, fiss on chips, that is, and, of course , a special recipe for the geekcake, is needed. Or how? Software& hardware with chocolate on top ?
“Happy geek day! “ is a bit official, but never mind. Fiss on chips is coming.

So what would be the name ? Geekday? Holy Geek Day? Saint Geek Day ? All Geeks day? (going to the disco included)

 

Well just just describe the occasion which is Geek Day = Gay
