Can't run anything

• Are you 100% sure about this?
• Did you try to download and run every single item we requested?
• Did you even try MGtools?
• Have you tried any online scanners if you can get a browser to open?
• If you could not download on the infected PC, did you try downloading on another PC and then copying to the infected PC?
• Did you try safe boot mode too?
• Did you see any messages mentioning Virut??? If so, you need to reinstall.

If you truly cannot run anything at all and have tried what is mentioned above then there is not much we can recommend but the below:

• Try restoring to an older registry hive using the Recovery Console as per the below. This assumes you have Win XP since you did not even tell us what version of Windows was in use.

• Take the hard disk out and scan it in another well protected PC
• Use another PC to make a special CD which you can boot from to try and run virus and spyware scans or to at least backup data. CDs like the below:
