noise-cancelling headphones

    I am in school and I must access the computer at school as it runs faster than mine and allows me to view materials I need for classes.

    I am in need of a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones
    I have no idea what to get

    anyone use some and have suggestions?

    Dont know what you have to spend so that would help a tad for suggestions?



    If I was going for great noise cancelling then BOSE (do have BOSE headphones for my iPod) have some great ones HERE or Sennheiser HERE

    I've been using some cheapish ($20-$40) ones that go deeper into the ear than normal ones that are pretty good at noise cancellation. Not as good as bose but they're good enough for me, can't hear what people are saying unless they shout, but I can usually tell when someone is trying to talk to me and not just around me.

    JVC Marshmallows as surprisingly good as keeping background noise out, if you're on a budget.

    And if they dont keep the background noise out you can always eat them ;)

    Any thoughts WatchinTV on the suggestions on this subject and do you have a max $$$ spend so that we can narrow the field down.
