What do you smell like?

I've seen threads here about what we drink, what we cover our feet with, what we listen to.. So how about a thread dedicated to what we spray, or otherwise put on ourselves before leaving the house for the day? For me, it's Gucci, for men. Not bad, at $73 a bottle. :major

I don't use anything, because I'm allergic to most of it. However, my guy uses Joop, which I really, really like. I think it's around $40 a bottle.

 

Ivory soap. Period! Oh, also there is no scented detergent or those sickly smelling dryer sheets either!uke Clothes are hung outside to dry. I guess I'm a 'au naturel' type of guy.

I do have an issue where people use this stuff to excess by not realizing that they get used to it so they glop more on to smell themselves or this rotating Glade type of scent thing in homes, disgusting! Sorry gals but it's usually women that do this, at least in my experience.

I have the Old Spice triple threat at the house. Body wash, Hair / body soap, and cologne.. Recently though, I wanted something else. That's why I bought the Gucci. Nothing wrong at all with Old Spice. I'm with ya! :cool

 

Was given a gift of PS...Paul Sebastian, years ago. Great soft smell and got terrific reviews from Nursing staff who inturned got PS for their husbands/boyfriends.
Normally, just a shower, once a month will do the trick too!

I always use Old Spice for Body Wash. I Also use it for deodorant. Also for good smelly stuff I am currently using Adidas kinds, and Obsession. Also showering helps I guess..

I typically don't smell like anything. my skin doesn't like the smelly stuff and the alcohol in it makes me sick to my stomach.

Yes, it is. I used to work with a woman who wore so much perfume to work (in lieu of showering, apparently) that if she was within ten feet of me I would choke and gag and cough uncontrollably. One time I had to be taken outside so I could breathe. rolleyes

Wow, depends on the time of day and what I am doing. During the week during the day, Coast Soap, and a bit of Fabreeze Bounce Laundry sheets. At night, could be wine, Beer, Gin, Scotch, Irish Whiskey, Rum, I love to try new drinks. Of course on the weekends Cordite might be a major smell component, and of course Sunday nights Hoppes#9 and gun oil. A clean gun is a happy gun. :-D

 

A probably smell like a combination of apples and either lemons or vanilla, depending on my mood.

The fresh apple smell comes from the styling products that go in my hair, and since I have lots of long hair, the fragrance lingers.

It smells of lemon and lemon grass. Very fresh and low-key, yet lasting all day just from a small amount.

It's a little heavier, but still not over-powering, and somehow seems softer as well.

Though an Iron Maiden t-shirt is also okay with the jeans. I've got some nice red lipstick and very black eyeliner that would go very well with it.

 

I use SafeGuard soap, and then whatever the wife buys me to wear as aftershave/cologne. I used to use all Old Spice products . . . but the fact her dad uses the same products put the kibosh on that!

Oddly enough, all the women I have ever been intimate with have commented I smell good when I come in all sweaty after strenuous activity . . . :confused Always seems to me I smelled like wet dog *** in those cases . . . :-D

But, anything to please a lady, I say!

Well, I keep getting given all kinds of smelly concoctions be lady friends every birthday/Christmas, which are only about 4 weeks apart for me. So needless to say, at this time of the year, I have a few shelves full of liquids, powders, aerosols, etc.

I often use Joop, as I usually get comments, (of the good nature), when I wear that. From memory, there is also Davinci, Lomani, Brut, etc. I usually stick with either Joop, Old Spice or Imperial Leather and such like, depending on where I'm going.

[Yeah, okay call me a "girly boy", guys.. ~ Sorry but, soap-on-a-rope worn around the neck doesn't count. LOL]

Kes, you can take any of my threads in any direction you like. Though I believe the pink bed spread is pushing up in that picture because one of your boots is under the comforter. LOL. I've never seen the Versace Red Jeans. I might have to keep an eye out to get a smell of that.

I've also been known to wear Drakkar Noir, and I have an emergency bottle of Tommy in my desk at the office, though it's never at home, and I don't think I'd go out with it on me.

Come to think of it, I have a bottle of Ralph Lauren in my car too.. I didn't think this thread would go anywhere. When I logged in, I started looking on page 3 for it haha.

 

I want to see cologne so expensive, when you push the pump down, the bottle chuckles.. (pshhhhh) hehehe (pshhhhh) hahaha....

While in college I worked at a bar. Before my shift one day I went target shooting. Cleaned my pistol got on clean clothes and when to work. Didn't think nothing of it.

About 30 minutes into my shift this uppity little college snot came up and asked what that smell was. She meant to imply that my cologne sucked.

Much to the joy of all the real men around me, I informed her that I was wearing a very expensive brand called "Hoppes #9".

The look on her face was priceless as well as the laughter that erupted behind me.
