Best Driver for GTX 260

Have not updated drivers in a long time. What drivers are working best for the GTX 260? I am currently using the CUDA V 6.14.11.7828. Ahh, yea came out in '08, might be time to update a little. :-D

 

I just use the nvidia drivers from the website. They work fine

 

If you're folding on that card, folks are reporting issues with the 196.21's breaking RivaTuner. I'm currently running 195.62's with no issues.

 

Augie, you using CUDA or nvidia?

 

Doesn't make a difference anymore for folding, they're nvidia.

 

When i had an Nvidia i used tweaksRus.com for their tweaked drivers and they used to work great for me. havent tried them with my Ati driver and never tried them for folding.

 

LOL, I did not know that Augie. Thanks for the info!! I usually just get the folding set up on them and leave them alone. Might be time for an update. :-D

 

I just broke my GTX 295, only 1 card is now running and if i try folding the temps go waaaay over 100c so for the moment i have stopped folding until i can find the strength to lift my tower from the floor to the desk and put my 260 in there ( pretty sick at the moment) it will be a while before i can get out and buy another 295 so i will just have to wait.

As for drivers i have been running the latest cuda on mine and the graphics were really clear and sharp.
