hello (I need help with my laptop)

hello Im new to majorgeeks, but i just had a question and I dont know where to post it at. I just got a brand new ASUS laptop like less than a week ago. and for some odd reason the background keeps changing to the asus home background. i personalize it and save the changes and the next day when i log back in after its done its updates and so forth its back to the stupid ASUS background. it cant be any virus because i just got it and really havent been on the net that much or downloading crap very much at all. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Win7 starer does not allow the deskop background to be changed at all. Therefore changing the background could not have been done in the first place.

 

Yes it is windows 7 & its a notebook U50

 

and i did change the desktop background! it was fine the first couple days and now it keeps going back to the default background

 

The ASUS U50 is a laptop rather than a netbook thus you are likely to have WIn7 home Premium.

@msepulveda: What happens if you save the theme in the personalisation control panel?
