You could easily have some old Java versions on your machine. Go to add/remove programs, (assuming XP), and remove all Java programs. Then just do a search on MG's home page for Java, follow the links, download and install. That should be all that you'll have to do.:wave:wave

If you're using Firefox and have NoScript installed then you have to temporarily allow scripts from YouTube. If you're using IE then you might have to find the settings to allow Java.

I guess the question should have been asked, what OS and esp. what browser? If IE, what version? What are your security settings?

There seems to be some confusion here. Java and javascript are two different things.

    You have not answered:

usafveteran, the post above yours is a first timer jumping into mccarthyx 's thread. It gets confusing because mccarthyx hasn't reported back to give answers.

Is there a moderator around to split jayambe's post into a new thread?

Right, I recognized that and I was not replying to that person. mccarthy's question was about JavaScript but replies from three people mention Java, not JavaScript. Java and JavaScript are not the same thing.
