    Hello.

    About a week ago, my PC had a strange program in it whose name I cannot remember. Win XP Antivirus, or something. It was clearly fake, so I ran Spybot Search & Destroy and it seemed to be gone. However, it seems my PC is running alot slower now, and I'm not sure why. I suspect that there may still be something in it. I have followed through the Read & Run Me First list, ran all of the scanners, and acquired all of the logs. I hope you can help. Here are the first four logs.

    Your MGLogs.zip is missing a few logs. Did you allow it to run to completion? Did you make the agreement to run HJT? Did you get any error messages when it ran?

    Let's have you run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\MGlogs.zipe you

    Thank you for your reply, TimW!

    I tried to run MGtools from the root folder c:, but it would only create the MGtools folder with all of the other files in it. It wouldn't run anything, so I tried the command prompt and typed in, I believe it was GetRunKey, then another command I can't really remember, from another post I had made on a different forum section. I don't remember seeing a HJT agreement, and saw no error messages.

    Should I try to run the MGtools again from the root folder? Here is the MGlogs.zip I believe you requested. I was a bit confused to see C:\MGlogs.zipe, I assume it was just a typo. As I ran the batch file, I did see an HJT agreement come up this time and I accepted it.

    Yes, that was quite a typo!! LOL. My bad!!

    Your logs are clean. The only issue that you need to address is your lack of RAM:
    Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB
    Available Physical Memory 95.01 MB

    What issues do you have now?

    So I only have 95.01 available RAM? That's not much at all. :(

    I suppose I could get a little more time out of this computer by purchasing a bit more. The only issues I have is that my PC seems to be slower. It doesn't lock up or crawl nearly as bad now. I did not want to take any chances with any other possible discrepancies being in my computer, so I thought it would be wise to check to make sure. :) I will try to add more RAM into my PC, and also run a disk defragmenter program aside from the one that comes with Windows, as I understand it isn't very good...

    Thank you for your help TimW. I greatly appreciate it. :)
