Hmm, first of all I prefer RC Cola. Secondly, it's a valid question for the poor uninitiated folks who come here for help, as I'm sure they have a love/hate relationship with their machine ATM and more hate right now.:boxing :-D I'm a tech forum rat but really, how many folks have the time to devote to that? So, being an educated rat, I voted yes after :banghead for so many years.

I love computers,in my experience most people who don't like them don't understand them or how to fix them,having a computer stop working for no explicable reason can be one of the most infuriating and frustrating things to happen to you,in your life and I don't think I'm exaggerating,I know I've been there like everyone else when they first start out with computers.

I actually remember being so depressed and frustrated I couldn't use my computer I just wanted a hug from someone and to tell me its all over my computer is working again,seriously I can't think of anything that's made me feel that bad other than a funeral.

 

I had a love/hate relationship with computers until I got rid of my stupid PCs and all that virus/spyware crap blah blah blah. What a ridiculous waste of time, money, energy, worrying, etc.

Now I have two iMacs and everything is hunky-dory. I just hope the Computer Pirates don't start making viruses for Macs!

So what are you going to switch to when they do? Use your PSP for email and browsing?

The single biggest security risk to any PC is the person using it. Just learn how to avoid the crap-ware, and you can stop worrying. Oh, and if you haven't already, put an antivirus on your Mac, just in case.

Oh, and I like computers, but not because they are cool. You didn't add an option that said "I love them, they're amazing!".

I have had my latest iMac since the summer of 2008. I use the internet all the time, have no virus software or anything, and have had no problems whatsoever.

Same with my older iMac, which I have had since May of 2001. Am always online.
