Coffee

My morning choice :cool

 

Yea, coffee is great. Two cups in the morning at home, two cups at work. I take it black. As I got older, I noticed I needed more flavor in the coffee. At the store, I now only get dark roast beans. I use the espresso grind.

It a way, my experience with coffee is the same as beer. As a young person, I thought that coors, budwiser, etc. were great. Then they seemed to lose their taste. I moved up in taste and ultimately I found Guinness on tap. I tried Guinness in bottles, but that wasn't the same. I haven't found any beers more flavorful than Guinness on tap (if you know of any, please post).

Bah, coffee... Beer, it is not just for breakfast anymore. :-D Nothing like a cup of hot coffee on a chilly morning.

 

I love coffee. I can drink it almost any time and still sleep if I have to. It will wake me up if I need it to. Never weak...I'd rather not drink it. It's even a bit of an addiction for me. Like driving home from work thinking about the cup I'll have after I eat dinner.

I even like the dreaded instant, Nescafe Rich Blend.

BTW, I am having coffee right now, and the status report is that it continues to rule to no end.

Three cups of Maxwell House in the morning to get me started, and then it is Tea the rest of the day. :yum I do so enjoy my tea! Strong, and slightly sweetened!:yum (Tea-A-Holic!) :-D

 

5-6 pots a day.
Surprises me the Red Cross don't get coffee from me when I donate.

 

Coffee is good. Italian roast espresso is one of my favs. :yum

 

water for me I could never get into coffee it funked with my stomach.

 

I didn't drink coffee when I was young, probably need the jolt to get the ole heart going in the am LOL
The only herbal tea I drink contains eucalyptus, it works as a natural bronchial dilator.

You have to try the Keurig k-cup coffee's. There is a ton of variety and it has to be the best tasting coffee that I have tasted home brewed. I would rank it above Starbucks without second guessing that rank. :dood:

When I was a teen my buddy Ray and I decided to float down the Kootenay river in his little boat. The river is fairly flat but we were approaching a fun little rapid and Ray wanted to roll and smoke a joint before we got to it so we could "experience it more". We grabbed an overhanging branch to buy us some time, the boat stopped, and water poured in over the stern, swampnig us. There went our drenched bag of weed floating down the river. We dragged the boat to shore and sat there cold and miserable, and consumed all that we had left...a thermos of "herbal" tea.

 

Hmmm I almost agree but there are a huge number of beers only sold in specific places that match Guinness, go to a beer festival in Norfolk
But stay clear of a beer called "Hair Of The Dog" because it really does taste like the name suggests :-D

As for Coffee, Tim Hortons all the way!

 

I need the coffee today. No sleep at all virtually last night.
