    Hello
Should you backup an external hard drive that you use to backup your system to or will that cause a problem?
    Thank you.

No need if you just want to defrag

You can not make a backup of a backup (I assume you have .tib files).

plodr, I've never tried it, but couldn't you just do a copy file/s instead of a backup of the backup file/s?

I'm sorry guys. I made that quick note in a hurry and obviously meant to say, should you defrag the external backup drive?:-o:-o

Can't see much point myself, seeing as the only reason to defrag is to speed things up. On a backup drive that isn't important.

I suppose you could copy an image file but why?
I'd just make a newer image and have two images instead of two copies of the same image.
I burn an image to DVDs then the next image I store on the external so I have different images in different media in case disaster strikes.
