    Hi all.
I have a bit of a cluncky computer but it does most of what i want it to do.
I have been looking to upgrade the graphics and it looks like i'm a bit behind the times as far as connections are concerned.
I have a geforce 6600 256mb card at the mo and only a AGP slot on the mobo.
    Was looking at a Sapphire Radeon 3650 512mb and 3850 512mb cards.
Looking at the connections I don't see a VGA socket.
Is there a 'new' way of connecting now (DVI??) if so do I need a VGA to DVI lead (Card to monitor) ?
Also, are the cards I have mentioned worth the upgrade?
    Cheers.

    XP Home SP3,K7NF2-RAID Mobo,Ath xp 3200+ @2.2Ghz
    1536mb RAM,NVIDIA GeForce 6600,Seagate 160gb HD

All you need is a DVI ot VGA adapter for a couple of ££'s,they usually come with monitors and video cards so if you,a friend or family member has a box laying around ask them to check if there's one inside.

The upgrade being worth it depends totally on what you do with the computer, your card will struggle to play 1080p HD video or similar and an upgrade will allow that but if you don't have a high resolution monitor and don't watch HD video it doesn't matter anyway. If you enjoy gaming and the games you play are struggling to run then the upgrade will be worth it but you still won't be able to play any modern games even with an upgrade, well very few.

    Hope that helps...

If you need to buy one, then i suggest you have a look at the OCUK website, the following are two options for, the cheaper one is just as good as the Belkin one, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-201-BE&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat= http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-016-OK&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat=

Good stuff there, basicly, you'll never be able to play any new games at decent frame rates with an AGP GPU, but if all you want is an upgrade, then the 3850 is a good option.
