I'm having problems connecting my PC to my TV. I'm using an S-video cable and on the computer (still connected to the monitor) everything looks fine, and as I'm able to move the cursor outside the desktop, the setup seems to be OK. However, the TV-screen is still black. Any idea what the problem could be?

    Thanks in advance!

So do you want both the monitor and the TV connected at the same time?

If you do, i don't think that is possible.

    What GPU do you have?

If you have a nVidia video card right click on the destop, go to Nvidia Control Panel and select Set up Multiple Displays then you can configure the displays. BUT I'm pretty sure you can only use 1 at a time. I have a PC connected to our TV (older 27" CRT), with a nVidia 7600GT AGP via S video and as I remember when setting it up once I got the output going on the TV, the monitor I was using went black.

With ATI video cards open the Catalyst Control center and go to Desktop & Displays to configure your displays.

Yep, as i said before, i don't think it's possible to connect a monitor via DVI, VGA etc AND have an S-video connection at the same time.
