The Weekend Thread 1.5

Right you lot. It's the weekend. What dastardly deeds of diabolical dastardlyism will you be doing?

Today - Work and then tonight Hebrew class.

Saturday - Watch my son play sports, fix the sprinkler valve hopefully, and unknown to my son, I have sweet tickets to Texas Motor Speedway to watch the OReilly 300 at 2:30!!! My boss gave me the tickets!

Sunday - Church in the morning and evening. British comedies at night time and possibly some burritos.

I've got a whole lot of nothing planned and I am in no hurry to get to working on it either.

 

Tonight I'm watching Game Two of the Stanley Cup playoffs for several teams.

Saturday is laundry and then babysitting one of the most fabulous little girls ever, then staying the night at their house so we can have breakfast in the morning (the parents are good friends of mine who I've not seen in a while).

Sunday is more Stanley Cup action, with a free taco bar at my tavern of choice with another really good friend.

 

With all due respect Halo, I didn't understand a word you just said. Are you Welsh? lol

\honestly I had no idea and was just making a funny. Not racist, as my family is of Scot descent and I'm Texan on top of that. LOL

Tonight I am chillin on the computer playing poker and drinking(GF) probably get to play more games then me Then tomarrow probably cooking home dinner... If none of you have tried this then maybe you should. But get some cabbage boil them and add some salt. Get baby carrots and broccoli and you can wrap them fully in tin foil and add butter (is better flavor) or olive oil for heathly.. but wrap the veggies and Cabbage in tin foil and smear a lot of butter on it and then put on grill and cook. Then get small steaks about 3 inches wide(yes there small) but have 2 or 3 with the veggies.. With the steaks tonight probably put parsel and something else on them. And cook them on the grill.. then my best thing ever is cut up potatos into slices and smear a lot of butter on them.. then fully wrap with foil and cook on grill as well...

Cliff notes Fully wrap sliced potatos by themself with butter smeared on them
then wrap veggies and cabbage with butter smeared on them. Then Cook steak.

 

Sounds delicious, but healthy??wave

 

Healthy way/less flavor.. instead of butter/use veg oil or olive oil.

 

Going to work Saturday, then going to a friends to grill and drink by a small bonfire. We are having a small, party, then, when we all wake up the next day, we are going to the rifle range. 2 AR-15's, 2 .40 pistols, one .22 pistol, a 12 gauge shotgun, a 9mm pistol, and maybe a .45 pistol.

Working Friday (including O.T.), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Not off Till Tuesday night.

Cinema and meal with the mrs last night, BBQ with friends today as the weather is looking nice today on the south coast - plenty of beer too!
Then catch a train to Brighton to drop the mrs back to uni, chill-ax tomorrow in Brighton, hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow too!

Weekend's half over in this part of the globe. Spent Friday night watching Clash of the Titans with my friend, which was not a bad movie, i.m.o. Well, the Kraken was kinda cool, anyway.:major
Spent most of today catching up with servicing my cars. Mercedes and B.MW. is finished. Mazdas and Volvo tomorrow, if I have time. The if I get time, watch Zombieland with my friend.

 

Well, the revival failed. Unlike the dead watercooler Zalman runs. Fan comes on, LEDs shine, and all that good stuff. PC is still not working though. I'll be in the hardware forum if anyone needs me.

 

Bummer weekend.

It rained on Saturday and my son didn't get to see his first NASCAR race. We waited all afternoon but the "90 percent chance of a window" never opened.

They were going to have it yesterday, but it rained all day. Today they are going to have the 500 at noon, and then the 300, which is the race I was attending at 5pm, but I work today. However, my boss who gave me the tickets, if I give a big enough sob story about my son, he may have some pity and tell me to go.

I just got word, the Nationwide 300 is at 4pm and I can attend! I can take off work at 2pm which will get me home by 2:30 and then onto the race by 4pm. So I can show my son the race cars that I promised!
