Need your opinion

I'm sort-of restarting my jewelry business, and need a name for Etsy (www.etsy.com if you're not familiar). My old business name is not available, so I've come up with some and would like your opinions. After the list I'll link to a photo album of my work so you can see what I do. PLEASE don't take this as advertising! I haven't even gotten beyond making some stuff and selling it periodically to friends! I just want your opinions on the name, since Etsy doesn't let you change your mind.

In the mean time, everyone I know was on Facebook, and since Felix is the name I use on almost every other website except this one, the vote was overwhelmingly in favour of JewelryByFelix (which was my favourite as well...the business used to be called Jewelry By Design and it flowed for me). So...that's what it is. Now I just have to get photos uploaded and work on more pieces, and I'll be off and running.

Holy nervous, batman! It's been almost 20 years since the business went by the wayside!

 

It sounds great, but it doesn't bring jewelry to mind... it conjures up images of either home-made candy or silk lingerie.

 

LOL Someone else said it reminded them of dog or cat treats.

I did get one suggestion that since I make jewelry I should call it Felix Fashions because then I can make candle holders, knick-knacks, wall hangings, and about 847 other kitschy stupid things ("you could even sew beads onto scarves!"). I'm sure those are lovely, but seriously. I make jewelry. I have, on occasion, for money, made suncatchers and wine glass stem charms. I briefly considered rosaries. But I am NOT going to buy a bunch of silver spatulas and glue glass stones to them so people can hang them on their wall. I am an artist, and my chosen medium is jewelry.

Ack. Sorry. She just wouldn't let up. Every time I said as politely as I knew how I wasn't interested in all that, she'd add more to the list. She even suggested if I don't like gluing ("not even with hot glue???") I could solder! I was losing it. LOL
