So, these past 2 weekends I've went shopping I bought shoes LOL
Here is a conversation that took place yesterday while I was waiting for my friend.

    Me: Hey, whats up.
    Friend: I'm almost there.
Me: Cool, I can't believe I spent so long in that store.
    Friend: Did you get anything?
Me: Yea, a pair of shoes.
Friend: What?! like you really need a new pair of shoes (I could almost hear her rolling her eyes :-D)
Me: Of course I need a new pair of shoes!
    Friend: you need some help.

In my defense, I've bought these to wear to a fancy dinner I am going to in June and none of other shoes were fancy enough to go with my dress.

At last count, I had about 65 different pairs but that was a while ago and I've been shopping since then. When I go shopping today I plan to look for shoes, I am always looking for shoes while I am out. Do I have a problem? :-o How many shoes is enough? LOL

I have a similar approach to make-up as I do to shoes, and my standard response when people ask me id I really need more shoes or more eye shadows, or anything else is to bounce a question back: If it was books, or movies, would you find it the least bit strange that someone was collecting them? No? Well, this is what I collect. And I can at least use most of what's in my collection. :-D

Well Dyamond, I wouldn't really call it a problem. Everyone, or most everyone, collects something whether it be guns, stamps, coins, cars, swords, dust, etc. It just happens that you collect shoes and as long as it makes you happy and you can still provide for your family....who cares? Personally, I collect RC helicopters, which some may think is 'stupid' since I can only fly one at a time but, again....who cares? So no, I don't think you're ready for any serious intervention...yet!:-D

Yep, whatever makes you happy, Dy. As long as you're still making ends meet otherwise. I mean, I bought 8 luxury cars over about eighteen months - how’s that for an expensive collection? In fairness though, I'm down to 5 now;). Why - because I can, and I make a profit when I sell them, anyway. In other words, whatever floats your boat, as long as you can afford it. Most people collect something or other, as long as it aint debts, that's okay. ~ Besides that's why you are known as the 'Centipede Queen '.:p

Hey Dyamond, have you ever had the feeling that maybe you shouldn't have started this thread:confusedroflmao Actually, if you didn't care for the new 'sub name' I'm sure you could buy Tim off with a nice, big cake. However, Phantom may be an entirely different story!!!:-D

Thanks for your support (regardless of what some PM's might say :p) in my shoe collection and honestly, I wear almost all the shoes I own, obviously one pair at a time but no shoe goes unused :-D

Lies! I hate feet, so gross :puke I almost didn't buy the shoes because they were open toed! Where is that un-thanks button... :-D

roflmao - I didn't catch on until I read your post.. I'm not blonde anymore so I can't blame it on that.. will have to think of a new excuse LOL

If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad . . . :)

With me, it's books. I am literally running out of walls to set bookcases against. A friend once asked me why I didn't get rid of books I had already read, to make space for new books . . .

I am told that my expression just then would be the perfect example for an apoplectic fit . . . :-D

You are a normal healthy shopping freak Dyamond according to my wife.

My wife is very dangerouse to our bank account when she gets into a shoe store or a dress shop, we never get out under $300.this week it was "i just need a summer dressing gown" and we came home with underwear, sleep clothes, two dressing gowns.

Good thinkin, Mimsy.. yea, that's it.. I was distracted by the shiny LOL

:-D It's always I'm only going shopping for one thing and come home with 12 shopping bags.

These shoes are pretty comfy, and I needed comfy and pretty because I will be doing a lot running around. I need to take an official count one of these days to see what number I'm up to now. LOL
