Toshiba laptop - vista - reinstall

need to reinstal vista on my windoze latop .. cant find disk.. no money to buy a new disk or OS.. please advise

Unfortunately, I've worked on a couple of Toshibas lately, even own one. None had/have a recovery partition. Post your model and we'll see if you have a recovery.

Else, post in detail the issues you are having and maybe you won't need the reinstall. This may be your best hope. :wave

 

actually i think i found the toshiba disk.. symptom: slow and all programs dont respond.

 

It should be more than one disk, but maybe not.

If that doesn't work, post here with your OS, security software, system specs, as much as you can! :wave:wave

Good, do you know how to use them. On the one Toshiba I was working on, I had to press and hold the number "0" on boot up to get a menu, one choice of which was "complete system recovery", click on that, and the DVD door opened with a message, "insert disk one".:wave

If you need help getting to that menu, post your model here.

Remember, when you do this ALL your personal data will be erased!:wave

 

shrug - says hold down c.. directions are on jewl case and thx for the reminder but i knew that about data most of data not on c drive.. besides this laptop runs like cr--
