    Hi

You dont have any ISO/CD/DVD Mounting applications installed do you, like Alcohol120 etc, if you do uninstall them.

    Do you run CloneCD?

You have not moved Documents folder from its default location have you?

Are you logged into an Administrator account as the game needs to be installed in an admin account.

As you have just installed Windows 7, have you rebooted it and checked for Windows Updates, then reboot and re-install the game.

    Hi Rogerdowl

Did you try the information above on, do you have any CD/ISO mounting applications installed if so uninstall them to try again the install.

What Windows version you using is it Windows 7 as the original poster has? if so did you try logging in as the admin and then right click Run as Administrator the setup file to the game?

Also try installing the game in compatability mode, right click the setup, properties, compatability and choose an older version of Windows (eg. XP Sp2)

If Windows 7 or Vista is it 32bit or 64bit?

Is this a CD version or a Digital Download version, if the download then download it again as it maybe corrupt.

Another possible is that the Installshield folder needs removing, this can be found in:

    Windows 32bit ~ C:\Program Files\Common Files
    Windows 64bit ~ C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files

If you also have Windows 7 or Vista you may need to install Directx 9 to get older or some games to work correctly, and Directx 9 latest version is HERE
