"need permission to perform this action"

    Can't remove fonts. Each time I get this: "You need permission to perform this action." I am logged on as Administrator; I've turned that off, I've followed directions to go to font properties and the only option there is the "general" tab... I have SO many garbage fonts, any suggestions? I use Vista 64-bit.

    This would appear to be a problem with your operating system as I have just attempted this in windows 7 Pro x64 and it does not even require admin permissions.

    If you boot into safe mode can you delete them?

    Don't know how to do it in safe mode... And please forgive ignorance on this, but do we have to purchase Windows 7 ?
