Moved from Malware to Software due to Mod. Request.

I have a 250gb HD and about 50gb free, but after 30 minutes or so after I restart my PC, my hard drive starts working like a time bomb and starts decreasing slowly until it reaches 0kb and windows says i have no space left on HD and nothing else will work until i restart my computer again.

I know i have LOTS of free space because I deleted a lot of my stuff.

Ran Windows Essentials, Avast, Trend Micro. Numerous malware cleaners, registry fixers...

Please take a look at the logs. Appreciate any help I could get.

    Thanks guys!

    Hi

What logs do you wish us to look at? or is this just a copy of the original first post HERE if so you are malware clear as TimW as assiting you with that.

Run through this cleaning guide to PC maintenanceHERE

Then click Start and type msconfig in the Start Search box, then open msconfig, once open click the Startup tab and disable everything and reboot, and see if the same happens, just trying to see if one of your startups maybe causing this.

If possible list your startups, just take a screenshot(may just need to crop the image to the relevent section to allow it to attach) and attach the list from msconfig.

Yes, sorry about that, I should have removed the "check logs" part.

I uploaded a video so you guys see what's going on and the startup screenie is attached as well.

After running CCleaner, then run ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

I would also suggest that you get an external backup drive and start moving things off your C drive and onto the backup drive. As I stated, your page file could be partially responsible for this decrease.

And is there a way to fix this page file problem?

You can reduce the size of it, but that will put more demand on your RAM. Best thing to do is to remove as much as you can to a minimum of 10 -15% free space. That is about the minimum for even doing a defrag. ( Which is another good thing to do once you have freed up enough space for it to run. )

disable that from starting up and see if you get your hd space to maintain the amount it started with at bootup.

Looking at the malware thread, Tim told you to remove Messenger Plus! Live.
In your running processes posted in this thread, I see the 10th item is Messenger Plus! Live uninstall. Why is that running? If it is truly gone, then the uninstaller should not be shown as running.

Please check the list of startups again and see if it still appears.

And why are you planning on formatting? You would be better off getting an external storage drive to move files to so that you regain some disc space. Then you can perform a defrag and any other cleaning that may be necessary.
