    Welcome to Major Geeks.
Have you tried having Device Manager to look for drivers?

    Hi

Would need to know the exact model number of your G60 as there are 130 different varients of this model PC, the page HERE can help locate the full model number for you, or also look on the tag on the bottom or back of the PC and it generally lists the model number in full, could look something like this "G60-530US"

Do look in Device Manager for any yellow ! marks and list them for us? if the PC was wiped clean and a new Windows install was installed, the likely suspects to missing drivers are the Chipset (which is a main driver as it allows other drivers as in the network and audio etc to be installed correctly) and as you have no internet, likely the LAN/Network drivers, could be both Lan and Wifi, however the chipset driver is the first one you will need to install before the others.

So if you can supply the full model number it will be helpful for us to find the correct drivers for your model as some models have different hardware and thus drivers.

Could run the below, but it may not still locate the full model number as its scan is hit and miss at times.

Good stuff, do you still have any yellow ! marks or have you now installed the drivers from HP to clear them up?

Do if not already, install the Chipset Driver and reboot, then install any missing ones for the other devices.

    Hi

Install the Chipset driver from HERE and reboot, as the SMBus driver and PCI Data are associated with the Chipset, although the PCI data acquisition could also be a modem, but try the Chipset first, and do remember to reboot, then check Device Manager again.

All your PCs drivers are in this list HERE

    Hi

The SMBus is the chipset driver or at least part of it, so did the Intel Chipset linked too earlier not clear that up? (will need to reboot for it to finish its install)

Do install the Chipset driver from HERE

Hi to reboot all you need to do is click Start > then either Shutdown (this will require you to press the power button on your PC to start it up again) or Restart *which is little arrow next to the padlock after you click Start (restart with automatically close then restart your PC.

This image shows Start > Shutdown and Restart (red square is shutdown and the blue ones are restart, click the triangle first to get the restart option)
