Windows Mobile

I was wondering if Windows Mobile could save over a network?

I would like to be able to have my newWindows Mobile phone coming in the mail save a text document or picture on a server that I have. Is that possible?

 

I assume without using activesync?

I'm actually designing an application right now for Windows Mobile using Visual Studio 2008 to interact with another program I'm building using Visual Studio 2008. I have no expierence doing that with SQL so unless there is a tutorial on it or something, I have no clue what to do while using SQL. Its kinda hard to explain what I want to do, but the Windows Mobile app will need to send information to the other program I'm building and since I have no clue how to use SQL, I thought it would be a bit easier for the app to save text documents on a server and the other program to read the text documents.

And I have no clue what activesync is so I dunno, lol.

 

I'm no master, but, I'm handy with mssql. What I suggested was what I thought you needed. There is a site that can answer this question, perhaps/maybe. I'll get back here with the answer. Mine friend who is a DBA should give me the answer or a way for you to get the answer you need. Patience.
