Is 'Spyware Doctor 2010' bogus?

While going thru the checklist here to get rid of any malware... whenever I click on ANY of the free anti-virus links (Antivir, Avast Home, Cocodo etc) I always get rediricted to the following site...

http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=955&file=1&evp=b7cc93b8a46387032dd7756deb50bbbd

which takes me to the same 'Spyware Doctor 2010' link.

If I then follow the links, the program finds lots of errors then wants $30 to fix the problems! It seems like that's the kind of problem I'm trying to eliminate!

Am I being maliciously redirected or is this what is supposed to happen?

No they don't!!!! They take you to the download page of the link you click on for a particular tool. What you are doing is misinterpreting is an advertisement for Spyware Doctor on the download page for another program like Avira Antvir. You need to look at the links under the http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/dll.gif image. And the link you posted in your first message is the correct download link for Avira. Again you are looking at an advertisement ( this is clearly stated by the -= advertisement =- ) not the actual download link which should automatically start and if it does not, you need to click the http://majorgeeks.com/images/click_here.gif image/button as stated.
