Russian spies have been in the US since, oh, 1930 or so. The ones caught are bad spies, thus why they got caught. :-D

Don't they mean have a life?

"You are tasked with the horrid job of going to America, going to school, getting a job and having a life, its going to be arduous mission comrade!"

I wonder how many volunteered? :-D

See, that's a good spy technique. Much better than a red and white sticker on the shirt saying "Hello, My Name Is Spy". :-D

I bet it only started out as a 6 month mission but then 30 years later

Russian command - It must be hell over there comrade living with those capitalist pigs! Are you ready to come home to the motherland? The weather has improved over here Valinsky only lost a half a finger to frostbite this year.

Spy - It's a living nightmare comrade but I'm not ready to come home yet I'm deep in a mission as we speak,I'm driving my new Mercedez Benz to the golf club to play a quick back nine with some American pigs to information gather,I'll report in a few years.

    :-D

Bet ya!! I've read somewhere that there are USA flags for sale with 61 stars on it. Preparing for the invasion/annexation eh? The drawback is that we've got 10 provinces and 3 territories. Somebody's got to go back to school and adjust the stars. LOL Hope no-one would think of adding vertical stripes to the flag either. ;)

None were arrested near my neck of the woods. Damn commies . . . :mad . . .

. . . wait - they aren't commies anymore, are they? I dunno what to call 'em now (this was much more fun during the cold war). :confused

Um . . . how about "Damn former commies that are probably still bent that way but can't actually be called commies anymore!" :mad

Nope. Just not the same. :(

That was Saturday, augie. We got bored and came home . . . your beer tastes funny . . . :p

Haha I already had a joke ready about being made in China but it actually was ! I don't know what's funnier that the flag has 61 stars or that the Chinese managed to sell pallet loads of them in America:-D

Does anyone know where this is from or if it's true, out of interest?

I have a friend here that hand sews historical flags. He has been selling historical British flags for around $600 each. I guess the British can't make flags either. :-D:-D

My current flag was made in China, and given to me by an Iranian immigrant... Interesting history about the different flags. I want to get a nice cloth flag one day. Perhaps one of the historical ones.

I like the history of flags, our English flag the George cross is pretty interesting it would seem we really can't make flags we just steal them :-D

We just had a box of flags got out whichever wouldn't land us a cannon ball to the hull:-D
