Anyone else watch Burn Notice?

I've just got into it as its just started showing over here 'five US for UK viewers' so I'm halfway through season 2 now,there are 6 seasons up to date and more planned so if your looking for something new to get into this may be it.

Its a lot of fun if you don't take it too seriously,kinda like Mcgyver but with spies,good guy goes around helping people out of sticky situations every week like the a-team but people actually get shot :-D And the writing is on whole different level compared with those eighties type shows.

If I were to make a show it would have spies in,lots of guns,lots of gadgets and Mcgyver builds,it would be set around the beaches in Miami with lots unbelievably attractive women in bikinis just walking past the camera for no apparent reason and it would be funny as hell,so yeah it ticks all the boxes.

It's got Bruce Campbell in as well providing the comic relief which is just an automatic win,he owns the show.

Got any favourite gadgets? A lot of the things he makes are pretty cool and believable but some are just silly,one I saw the other night he made an X-ray machine with an old TV set and a tazer,one a TV set doesn't emit anywhere near enough X-rays even if you over clocked it and two a tazer doesn't have enough current to power a CRT.

Still enjoyed the episode though :cool

 

So far my fav has been the tazer camera, but you're probably not seen that yet.

 

WTH go for it Triax what was it and how did it work?Did he set up a camera up to take a photo the second someone was tazed?:-D

Nah, he built a tazer into a camera to take to a meeting in city hall. It was awesome.

 

Watched a few episodes. Fiona is about as sexy as they come!!

I've been getting into White Collar lately. Love the concept of actually having to using brains over brawn.

 

I love the show been watching from day one. Its what made me get that 72 charger I had lol
