Have you tried removing it with an Administrator account anyway?
    Which Outlook do you have?
    Where is it showing up?
Does the full name show up, or do you have to go to properties or something to see that?
Why do you think it's a calendar? Does it have the normal calendar format when you open it?

What version of Outlook are using you? 2003/XP/2007?

Did you tried to backup your Calendar, delete all calendars and restore it again?

You could backup your *.pst too and remove your Outlook account and out it all again.

    Look.

    One option is:

    1. You could do a Backup of your Outlook Calendar.

2.After you saved it, you could delete the actual calendars (i mean delete every calendar) and restore the one that you saved before.

    Second one is:

    1. Do a backup of your Outlook *.pst and calendar.

    2. Delete the Outlook account and restore that you have saved.

    Third one:

    1. Reinstall Outlook

Finally, you didn't told us what Office are you using. Is Office 2003/2007?

Are you able to right click on it, go to properties, go to Permissions tab and change the Permission Level (half way down) to Owner? If you can do that, you might then be able to remove it.

Just discovered scanpst.exe can be in other places than that listed.
Best to do a Search in Program Files on your (probably) C: drive.
You will need to include Hidden Files and Folders in your search.
You might also need to turn on Show Hidden Files and Folders under (in Windows Explorer) Tools>Folder Options>View tab (10th item down in XP)

You could also try Detect and Repair... in Outlook under Help.

I suspect itmortiz may have been wanting to know what version of Windows you're using, since you've already said you're using Outlook 2003.

    Understandable. Count to 10. :)
Did you do a search for scanpst.exe? And include hidden folders in the search? It should be there somewhere. Trouble is, there's no guarantee that will fix it anyway... :(

    Missing buttons or tabs

I can't add new delegates because the Add button is unavailable.

If you want to have delegates open your Microsoft Outlook folders, your mail must be delivered to your mailbox on the server, not to a Personal Folders file (.pst) on your hard disk. If you have your mail delivered to a .pst, you cannot add delegates.

I can't see the Delegates tab.

You may not be connected to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. Verify that you are connected to the server.
The add-in that contains the Delegate Access feature must be set up. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab. Click Advanced Options, and then click Add-In Manager. If the Delegate Access check box is not available, you must set up that add-in.
    How?
    Do either of the following:

Add or remove a COM add-in

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
Click Advanced Options, and then click COM Add-Ins.
    Do any of the following:
To enable an add-in, select the check box next to the add-in.
If the COM add-in you want is not listed, you need to add it to the Add-ins available list. Click Add, click the add-in (.exe or .dll file) you want, and then click OK.
To disable an add-in, clear the check box next to the add-in.
To remove an add-in, clear the check box next to the add-in you want to remove, and then click Remove.
Add or remove an Exchange Client add-in

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
Click Advanced Options, and then click Add-In Manager.
Click Install and then double-click the extension configuration (.ecf) file you want.
    Click OK.
To disable an add-in, clear the check box next to the add-in, and then click OK.

Here are a couple more things to try:
Empty the calendar. To do this you first have to change the view:
View > Arrange by > Current View > By Category
Then select anything listed and delete. Then try deleting the calendar.

Can you drag the calendar to the desktop or to your quick launch bar (bottom left on your screen)? You might be able to delete it from there. Or try dragging it to another location on your folder list in Outlook, and try to delete it from there.

what i dont understand is that when i try to delete the calendar it says i cant delete a folder. but its not a folder

I think it just considers it a folder - like something in which it stores information. It's only difference from other folders is the way it displays the information. I think you will probably find that all calendars are called folders.
Have you tried dragging it off the Outlook list yet?

BTW, it's not too surprising that reinstalling Outlook didn't work - it just means that the thing is in your .pst file, which is likely.
