Yes the 1st Ultilities 1.27 downloads are what you need and all of them, but its never clear with FIC which ones you need as each Util pack covers a vast array of their motherboards.

So knowing you have an nVidia chipset it is best to start with that first, so download this driver HERE and install (this one covers alot of the drivers in one go) then reboot, then look in Device Manager and mention what devices have yellow ! marks next to them.

 

The nVidia driver includes the Chipset, LAN (ethernet driver aka internet connection) and other drivers, it may or may not do, as you said the laptops a mess and you need to start at the beginning and slowly and the Chipset driver is the most crucial of them all.

No problems, whichever the PC is in the logs is what the drivers I will be finding and from the logs the main one that stands out is that the motherboard uses an nVidia nforce2 IGP chipset, this does come with many other drivers including LAN, so hopefully it will cover you for accessing the internet.

This is what I was also using to gain information about your motherboard http://www.fic.com.tw/product/motherboard/AMD/k7m-nf18g.aspx that plus the Everest logs give alot of information, plus your link to the correct drivers on FICs FTP site, will give us any missing ones.

Any missing drivers we can mop up later on.

 

Hey good to know your now back online with that PC, as for the other drivers, well would only start installing any if there are any yellow ! marks in Device Manager and you feel like installing what is missing.

But as the PC is working OK for you so far, just see how you go for a few days.
