vundo problem

Hello,

I am attempting to help my dad get his computer running again but sadly he has something that the normal procedures will not get rid of. When i ran SAS and tried to let it remove the problems I was shown a r6002 floating point not loaded error so i doubt that SAS was able to remove the problem because of that. Because I am short on time right now i simply continued running the scans in order to get the log files. The major issue he has is a lagging computer and long waits between mouse clicks and the system actually doing anything. His computer is quite old but its all he has to work with and serves his office purposes.

I was thinking that a re-install might be best anyway, since my brother set up the main drive as "D". I am currently not at my fathers house and won't be able to get back there until the weekend anyway.

Thanks for your help once again, and you can consider this one closed, as I am going to wipe the drive. Normally I don't like doing that on office use machines because of all the files that need to be backed up *GRIN* but in this case it's for the best.
