Since motc's coffee thread is a couple of pages back now, I thought I'd just make a new one.

Gimmie plenty of coffee - hot, black, and strong enough you have to beat it back into the cup . . .

About two cups when I first wake up usually has me firing on all eight in no time . . . :-D

 

The best kind of coffee you can clean engine parts with now thats strong coffee. I drink that kind because I work graveyards and never know what day it is, possibly the effects of drinking too much coffee?:-D

I'll drink it black if that's the only way I can get it, but I prefer to give my coffee a little TLC now and then. Ya know, little cinnamon in the filter with the coffee, some French Vanilla liquid creamer, or change things up with a robust Columbian and a little hazlenut, with honest cream. Ummmmm. Think I may drink too much coffee. My second home is the local Omelet Shop (24 hour restaurant serving mostly breakfast) which has the classic 'bottomless cup' policy. Speaking of which, WAITRESS!

 

Without Coffee the world out there just wouldn't be the same !

 

I love coffee but for some reason I don't drink it at home.

Not at all, miss. My first cup of coffee had honey and cream added. It was wonderful, just wonderful. My mom made it for me when I turned 15, on the first day of school that year.

But now I drink my coffee black for two reasons . . . my parents house was old, drafty, and cold, and I am lazy. I'd get up to get ready to go to school, and in the deep winter it wasn't worth straying long enough from a furnace vent to doctor up a cup of java. Lazy kicked in in the warmer months when I decided I liked it well enough plain, thus avoiding extra morning effort. Unless of course, it was made for me . . . but even that fell by the wayside.

The fact you take the time to design your morning kick indicates I could be the nancy . . . :-o

hell, at that point you might as well put an umbrella in it and put it in one of those tulip glasses :-D

 

don't get me wrong, I enjoy a caramel latte every once in a while, but that isn't coffee. it's a desert drink or something.

Nancy eh? lol well then guilty as charged. I'll drink coffee anyway I can get it just about, but on the odd occasion I like to doctor it up a bit.
