    Hello folks.

I'm running into massive problems due to silly mistakes. Long story short, the Primary Domain Controller on our office domain is Ruined Forever, and I need local administrator access to the Windows XP pro terminals to migrate them to a new domain.

A friend advised using the Trinity Recovery Kit for this, so I'm doing so. Went to windows password reset, admin password, changed it to something simple.

But I still can't login as local admin.

then I tried the same, after first using the Unlock and Enable user option in there. Still no dice

on the login screen, I'm definitely changing the domain to the local machine. I don't see why it won't work. Does anyone have experience in this issue?

I've justr tried this. I'm afraid it's not working either.

it did behave differently though. It asked me to save changes at the end, which trk did not. However I'm still not able to login.

On a related note, what does clearing a user's password do? allow login without password?
