    Hello all.

Is it possible to open all links on a web page and have them opened in separate tabs in Firefox? I mean a web page requires scrolling down.

    Ray,

Go to Tools>Options>Tabs and see if checking the top box does what you want. If that is checked, any clicked-on link will open the link's site in a new tab. You also might want to check the bottom box, too, if you want to immediately switch to that tab.

Hi kipfeet. No, I want to open all links in a web page. I can open new tabs as it is. I'd like a quick way instead of right clicking on all links to open in a new tab. There is a Firefox addon Snap Links but that only opens all links on the present screen. I want all links opened on the whole page.

Ray, I was afraid that may have been what you were trying to do! Sorry, but I don't have any ideas to accomplish what you want.

    Good luck :)

    Talk about information overload.
Some pages I've seen are almost all links.
Trying to punish your graphics card for some reason?

I've not tried these but one of them might work for you.
    LinkSidebar or
    Multi Links

Yeah, this really seems like an absurd idea. You could have scores, even hundreds of tabs, opening ... or, at least, trying to open... all at once. Better be prepared for some browser crashes.

And, where does this process stop? Imagine each new page that automatically opens then triggering another launch of pages being opened.

    My thoughts exactly.

Indeed, with the "LinkSidebar" add-on, this is highly likely. This page alone is showing 151 links. Whether that is a valid count or not is immaterial, it will still try to open them all. Don't believe opening that many at one time is desirable.

The "Multi Links" add-on is only slightly better in that it allows for group selection of links but this:
would still apply and who knows what those pages might contain. Dangerous at best.

The negative side of this idea far out weigh the positive, unless there is some special circumstance where the outcome is already known for certian.
