Who star rates MG threads?

Anyone can rate them, bazza. It's only in some forums though (offhand I know it's in Interesting Websites forum and a few others).

If you click on the thread, you'll see in the upper right hand corner of the thread there's a drop down.

I've never used it. I do know that spammers use it a lot though. The rating you see is an average of all of the ratings.

 

I thought it was the "Thread Fairy"!! Who'da thunk!!!!! LOL

 

Alot that have 5 stars have been added by spammers to try and highlight their spam posts to that thread, the spammer is deleted but the star rating stays, TBH not a great way to know if a thread is any good or not.

I use the star rating to mark all of yours down Bazza

hahahaha.. thankfully for many the reduce "star" rating is not by the ban/delete member button, as oooops! would happen alot.... I have a funky right mouse finger that likes to ban folk for junkass posts, I'm not going to argue with the finger as its normally right..... hahaha on right hand.. so duh always right.

But cannot promise anything this weekend as eyesight is funky, so may ban someone by accident and well I appologise now and oooops! slip of the finger is to blame
