Had to do a system restore which was successful but when I returned to my desktop found this message: this system application AWC.exe has failed to start because the rtl70.bpl is missing. Have no idea what the exe file or the rtl file is at all. Can advise if needed, how to retrieve etc.

Am on XP Pro Home Edition
had to do a restore because I tried to use my flash drive with Goodsync program on my new PC with Home Edition XP and my flash drive files were from my old PC with XP Pro. Threw me into an inability to log onto the PC at all. The restore went fine but ended up with the above message on desktop when finally got there on bootup.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

awc.exe is just a process that is part of IOBit's Advanced SystemCare. Just reinstall Advanced SystemCare and see if that resolves the problem.

Since I made this post have discovered that the message refers to a program called Advanced System Care. It seems one of the files has been corrupted and was advised to uninstall and reinstall the program. Thanks to anyone who invested time to answer me.

I see chaslang answered exactly what I had discovered - seems we are on the same track but again thanks for your time and effort.
