HI Nick

My best advice is to use Google Translate HERE (it will auto pickup Japanese and translate to English) and copy and paste the text in that you need.

* は必須項目を示します which is Indicates a required field
for instance the first question is 車種名 which is Model Name.

The difficult bit is in dropdowns (as in the model name dropdown) as you'd need to know the Japanese for your model car, can try a Translation using the Google thing and go from english to japanese.

I would be tempted to write them a letter as corrispondance back from an online form will likely be in Japanese and even less understandable for you.

i have filled in the web form the best i can and written a letter as well so should get a reply back in around a couple of months

I have a faulty colt which needs some rectification work doing on it but i am trying to get a replacement as the car is new

 

I see Nick, not good if a manufacturing fault is to blame, did they do a recall on it for this fault? did the fix work or is it just the same?

I hope you get a reply and a fix for this mate.

 

I am getting a refund from the dealer for my colt as i believe these modifications that are needed are not my responsibility they are only miner in nature but head office don't see it that way as they say I'm not qualified to make these judgments. head office are not to be recommended and if i were not a fan of this Marquee and what it has always stood for would look elsewhere
i will add some additional money and get a lancer sports hatchback from japan and hope head office can deliver it in one piece

Very nice Nick, you getting a good deal on the import duties? or is a sourced Japanese version (to Brit spec I would imagine) is cleaper to import and pay duty yourself?

Looks nice BTW and what colour as thay blue in the link image looks neat, must if we are ever back in Reading again give me a spin in it

 

It is for the UK market Dave and in black just minus fog lights and cruise control but apart from that it is the business :-D

Suprised knowing you, you never flew over to Japan to inspect the build BUT really glad that delivery is today, so did you pickup the car ok and is all perfect?

yes it just needs a final polish as it come in very dusty and had been sitting around somewhere where the sun doesn't shine. The dealer cleaned it but i prefer to just go over it myself

 

You're liek me Nick, I prefer to give any new car the once over myself, what polish do you use?

I tend to use Mer or Autoglym.

Just not been great weather of late to give the car a good wash and polish sadly, its just had a wash only, may try tomorrow if weather is good.

 

I use Autoglym but the car being black is very unforgiving especially when the sun comes out but then you guys no that who have a black car. You just have to live with it or get the in colour now in the UK which is white which comes up a treat and doesn't seam to get dirty judging by a neighbour of mine it always looks clean

 

Yeah know what black cars look like when cleaned and polished, not very unforgiving as you say Nick if you miss a bit, had 4 previous black cars, have a red one at present, which is not too bad,
