BSOD After Malware removal

My computer was running fine and when I started it up this morning I was at the login to windows screen and heard "Congratulations, you're a winner" or something like that so I knew something was wrong. I logged in only to find some program that looked like a virus scanner scanning my computer. Tried AVG to get rid of it and then I did MSConfig to disable all startup programs and now...

STOP: c0000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000022 {0x00000000 0x00000000}
The system has been shut down.

This is the message I get whenever I start the computer.

Tried restarting in Debug mode, Last Known Configuration, safe mode... tried just about everything...

Don't have a XP CD for Repair Options.
Anyone have an idea? Need this thing for college ASAP so if anybody can help, It would be greatly appreciated.

What is the make and model?

You may well have a recovery partition.

It was a Dell Precision 370 but my brother upgraded it to 3gb of ram and swapped out the hard drive with another one, reformatted it and installed windows xp.

You are going to need an xp cd. If you can borrow one of the same version that would work. Then you can do the following:

Awesome. Now all I need is to find an XP CD. Any idea on where to get one?
