Wow, even with my recent issues I still made page 8 though I'm not sure how long I could keep that status.!:cool Bought some new hardware and it will improve my points. However, looking at this page seems that I've nearly reached my potential. It's been a fun ride so far!:)

Besides not being able to run my second GPU, I can't run SMP on my CPU either due to heat. I should also be able to OC this Q6600 way past the 3GHz that was the norm with the new HS/F.:major

You're still a #1 in my eyes.;):-D Mayhaps I should just STFU!roflmao I've always advocated affordable folding and there's nothing wrong with that concept. Every WU is a good WU.:)

    WTF augie!:major
Some really good results from all the additional hardware added in the last year.
Hopefully with cooler weather on the way you can crank some stuff back up.:-D
(And you're right about the science being the end to the means.)

Did you ever think of going on water Bill? That would eliminate the need for a lot of fans whirring about, therefore less noise and more uptime.;) Somewhat pricey, I was looking at a waterblock for the 470 and it was $165!:eek Then there's everything else that go's with it for support like a pump and a radiator. Maybe one day but not today.:)

I am now getting restricted for room, with the Coolmaster V8 in there it is a bit crowded.

I am at a standstill for the moment, I have to go back in hospital later this month so when i get out i may do a re-design on the rig.

Yep they have got to open me up again and make some adjustments to my metalwork (i think i will get them to fit zippers to my hips :-D

I have to go in on the 12th so don't be surprised when the points fall away for a few days,

LOL @ zippers.:-D Do they follow the old scar or start a fresh cut? I counted 21 on me, welcome to being a living road map.:):wave

Hopefully we can get November's points up what with my hardware issues, your 'hardware' issues and Kevin seems to be MIA. Hopefully this is the last 'adjustment'. Do they really know what they're doing?

An old neighbour had 3 on the same side, poor guy would come into the bar on a walker, thankfully nothing untoward happened as he did like to drink.

They cut as close to the old scar as possible, now this is the fourth time on the left side and the scar is almost a half inch thick.

The reason they have to keep opening me up is i have a bone disorder that is calcifying the operation site so it keeps rejecting the implant and they are going to try with a ceramic instead of metal this time.

I have seen that Kevin has fallen off, lets hope it is just temporary.

    You're not calcifying Bill.
    You're rusting.

Seriously though, best wishes for the outcome.
Time after time can be tedious and painful.

I'm not sure on the room issue but here's a couple of videos from a good OC site on what's needed to install a waterblock on a GTX480( I assume my GTX470 is similar.) I thought you might want a romp through skineelab's videos while you're in the hospital to keep you occupied.;) Yes, I'm researching waterloops now!:heli:-D

BTW, did you see the GooGone stuff work? :eek Amazing! I got to find some but it's kind of a 5 lifetime supply like my liquid hickory smoke!:-D. I'm not using Isopropyl alcohol any more! Plus I'd use gloves as he's handling the pads pretty heavily with his fingers.
