Dell D630 factory setings

I have a crashed laptop, Dell Latitude D630. I can't load into Windows in ant way. I have no Recovery disks. Can I reset to factory settings? If, so, how?
Windows xp pro

 

I have tried all of those but I will try the windows advanced options again.

 

nothing works, any more ideas?

 

PM me and I might have some disks.

 

If Dell gives you a hassle, I have 7 brand new - sealed CDs for the D630 for you.
XP SP3 and software.

 

thanks plodr, that is what I was looking for, but it didn't work either. I have a dell xp pro cd but it is for a desk top, can I use it to reinstall xp?

 

Thanks everyone, I have always received good replies and quickly. But I think the hard drive is toast. I'm not able to install any OS from many cd's. It is the hard drive because I have placed it in other laptops with the same response. I have also put other hard drive into the dell with no problems. I just wanted to try and save the xp pro on the dell hdrive. If anyone can tell me how to recovery the os please let me know how.

foogoo, any chance you still have those latitude d630 recovery disks? I too have a corrupted OS (Geek Squad confirmed it wasn't the hard drive) with no recovery disk. Thank you.
