Minor computer breakdown.. but I'm back to harass you.

My Dell M2010, which I aptly named Mothra, finally decided to bid this world a fond farewell. It was a great machine when it worked and Dell lived up to their support (for me, at least) and after 5 video card failures, they replaced it with a SLAMMIN Alienware M17x-R2. So here I am.. and there you are... *blink* *blink*.. yeah..

soo... WE TOOK BACK THE HOUSE BABY!!!

Mothra is dead.. I have her H Double D's in USB drive cases plugged into Gojira.

I'm having phun on the X6 1090T@4.2GHz, playing Fallout - New Vegas. Now if I can only give up work, rather than playing it 'til 5:00 a.m., LoL. :-o
I almost feel the urge to cross to the dark side and go i7, but wallet and impending Christmas says "Resist the Force" (For now, anyway)

ah well.. Our Federal Reserve chairman just announced he's buying 600Billion of our own debt. The Dollar Index just tanked to 75.7 and the value of our dollar just took a nose dive. So I will not be buying anything that I can't use to live on. This lappy,thankfully, was a replacement and I paid nothing for it.

 

Wow, 5 video card replacements?!:eek I hope you had a Dell depot close by and lots of patience. Nice on the new lappy.

 

I have acquired much patience in my aging process. It's my kids that use it all up
