    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

To be honest apart from a few updates you will need as in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Java tec its upto you what to remove as its down to what you want as in just sufing the net as usage.

Is McAfee a fully paid up version or out of date? if out of date then look towards a free antivirus application like Avast, AVG or Microsoft Security Essentials etc

In your startups I would delete

    jusched
    tfswctrl
    DVDlauncher
    RealPlay
    qttask
    America Online 9.0 tray icon

I would think that WordPerfect Office 12 would be a trial and not needed though I'm not sure. If indeed it's a trial, you can always use OpenOffice to replace the MS stuff.

How do you connect to the Internet (ISP -internet service provider)?

If you are *Not* using America Online (AOL) I suggest removing that,
but wait to see if anyone else has some comments about that.

    Here are the Uninstall instructions:
Uninstall the AOL software in Windows XP/2000/Me/98

After that has been completed, I would also suggest that you reboot,
download CCleaner Slim and do a basic clean up and Registry clean.

Again, you can get instructions here about how to configure CCleaner and do the cleanup.

I hope that others will comment on that as to whether it might cause any problems.
CCleaner is generally very safe and highly recommended.

Remove Adobe Reader 6, then install the latest version (if you need it).

Remove Java RTE 1.4, then install the latest version (if you need it).

Personally, I'd remove MusicMatch Jukebox and Quicktime.

I'm sure at the very least, QT is out of date and needs to be patched if you want to keep it.

You can use Quicktime Alternative instead.
