Please help me overclock

Hey guys This is my first post here At majorgeeks.com
I'm running an Amd platform And im not shure if my platform is clockable.

I have :
Amd athlon x2 7750 black edition whitch is aircooled by a Asus silent knight AL.
Asus m3n72 - d.
2x DDR2 800MHZ 2GB Corsair.
6 harddrives 4 seagate baracuda 7200 rpm and 2 equal WD drives..
Corsair Hx 750w Psu
And i run a Nvidia 9600 gt BFG
P.S i have a good airflowin my pc.

Would love some healp 2 make my pc run better/faster for better gaming experience. Yeasterday i Changed my multiplier from 13.5 to 14 and saved. after that my pc started rebooting over and over so i had to reset Cmos. i'v had it running 3.0 ghz before but i experinced laggs, it felt slower. However i just checked a benchmark on This processor and the scorce where much higher Whit a 3.2 ghz overclock.
Please help me im going 2 buy Cod black ops today and i know theres laggs on the server but id like my pc to be ready for the game when the buggs are fixed.

Your limiting factor in games would be your videocard. I would focus on overclocking it first. As far as lag (actual ping times, not stuttering in game) is concerned I would look into your ISP or maybe your network card settings/drivers.

 

This video card is allready overclocked. im pretty shure it says OCX on the card and i saw a compare between the 9600 GT overclocked and orginal. the OC where a little stronger in everything. but is there anyway that i can overclock my processor. I whant to play black ops and i failed in the test bicauese of my processor. sorry for the late reply i cant logon to messanger all of a sudden. so i couldent check my mail what so ever, hotmail.com was restricted and marked as "not trustable". does not my Game quality go higher if i OC my cpu ??

 

A video card that comes "overclocked" is just running at a faster stock speed. Most of the time they are running nowhere near maximum. What test are you referring too?

 

Im trying to find a link to the test, but first of all i need to ask. Will i have to buy a new cooling system ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLnpSAl1nF4 Thats my card i kinda missed that it said Oc2.

 

It would depend on your temps.
