Many times slow computers are not due to malware.

• What Service Pack of Windows XP are you running?
• Also how much memory in your PC?
• How recently did the problems begin?
• Has anything recently been installed on the PC ( new hardware, new software, any updates to software....etc)?

You don't need HijackThis.

Try running the procedure with MGtools in the below link and then attach the MGlogs.zip file from MGtools. It will give us some information to decide whether to pursue looking for malware or not.

This is your problem. This is no longer adequate to run current versions of Windows XP and other software you are running. Your logs show

Your PC will be extremely slow with so little free memory. You need to upgrade to at least 1 GB but 2 GB is highly recommend. This was stated in the beginning of the READ & RUN ME where it mentioned "slow PCs".

Try disabling Spybot's Teatimer as requested in the READ & RUN ME. Then uninstall Ad-Aware ( not worth the resources it wastes ). Then try uninstall AVG9 which is a resource hog and try Avira or Avast instead...... but you still need to add the memory.

Since you are not having malware problems, let's remove MGtools:

1. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
2. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
   related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
