Gina Elise, Pin Up Queen, receives Oprah's blessing.

I first heard about Gina and her Pin-Ups For Vets Calendar in early 2007. Earlier this year I made a short film using her pictures and my words in a series of motivational posters called Get Motivatored With Gina Elise.
Having watched her efforts and admired her devotion to her task, I'm very very pleased to see her gain some recognition - not to mention a few material rewards. She was nominated for her work and I am (hands really far apart) SWOLLEN RIGHT UP with happiness that her good work is finally receiving some widespread media attention.

Gina gets a lot of inspiration from Elvgren and Vargas pinup art of the 40s and 50s. Cheeky but classy. Slightly naughty but keeping a little something in reserve.
